I will be racing on Team Kraken in The 508 on 5-6 October 2013. The 508 traverses the grueling Mojave Desert. My teammates Mel, Brian, Bill and I will be racing this relay fashion, with one man on the bike at a time. Because of a crazy monsoon this year, portions of the route have been washed out, resulting in one detour and one mandatory vehicle shuttle. The result? It's "only" 476 miles long this year.
