Whether seated or out of the saddle, Bob just hammered through this section. The slight downhill pitch certainly helped, as did very light winds. The dry heat was all that had to be overcome. Notice the very faint clouds behind Bob. These exploded into an immense cloudcover that later brought cooler temps as evening ensued, but no rain.
